Working with all major lenders, the team at doddl.ie are pioneering a better mortgage experience in Ireland, combining a team of mortgage and property experts with state-of-the-art online experiences utilising AI and Open Banking.
doddl + wawawi
Our relationship with doddl started in 2022 when we were asked to look at a number of design opportunities for the company.
The company was considering a new positioning and brand refresh to better represent the extended value proposition and while developing the new, bespoke customer portal ‘DMx’.
Key messaging development
We started by adjusting the language and tone of core landing pages, and updating the design of lead generation flows and content within key user journeys.
Designing the customer portal
Next, we focused our efforts on redesigning the customer portal User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) to maximise customer on-boarding, usage, and customer retention.
Through this process, we developed a full UX scope based on customer needs, and designed a full suite of high-fidelity wireframes covering each and every step in the customer portal, designing new methods for prospective mortgage customers and mortgage switchers to easily provide data and manage documents through the 3 key phases of mortgage application, and surfacing additional doddl services (insurance, home buyer helper, legal conveyancing) at the optimum time.
Scores of customers have already awarded the DMx portal experience 5* reviews on Google.
Website design & development
With all journeys and the customer portal now up to scratch, in late 2023 we embarked on designing and delivering the new brand website – from Information Architecture through design, CRM flows, and all branded content.
As with all website work, we ensure everything is built with both security and SEO in mind, protecting the brand’s SEM position while provoking a jump forward at go live.
Given the highly competitive mortgage market in which doddl operates, we also invited our partners Coalface Digital to the table to add a deeper level of expertise in tracking and building out the plan for future digital performance marketing.

We continue to partner with doddl, providing design thinking to optimise the user experience across the website and DMx customer portal.
